Yes, yes, and no

Today I had two successes and one fail!

For dinner I made a falafel, tomato, and kale salad. It was freaking amazing! I am for sure adding falafel to my list of staple foods!







After my amazing and light dinner I decided to try out an amazing desert I found on tumblr. Ok, stay with me..... Chocolate....vanilla almond milk......agave nectar...... And..... Avocado! It's sounds weird but came out amazing!

My final adventure in cooking was the evil land of vegan/gluten free baking. Those words together are a trifecta of terror! I am just starting to try and learn how to bake vegan and gluten free. Today's attempt was a disaster! The bread did not rise the way it should and was DENSE! It looked amazing but when I cut into it it was so soft in the inside! I managed to eat the ends but threw away the rest. I will try again later this week.







That is all I can handle for the evening so it's time to finally sit down and relax!

  1. I was gifted a recipe book for Christmas this year that is egg, dairy, gluten, and soy free cooking. It includes TONS of breads and pastries! I'll have to share some of the recipes with you :)

  2. As a taste tester in all three of these experiments, my favorite was the falafel salad (especially the dressing). The bread was yummy too, can't wait for the next taste test. As for the avacado-choco pudding, definitely sweet and creamy but not my favorite.
